Steps to Delete Your Account in the FMCSA Clearinghouse
Step 1: Go to login.gov, click on Sign In in the upper right.
Step 2: Log in with your email address, Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse (DACH) password.
Step 3: Enter a six-digit authentication code; once logged in you should see your account information on the screen
Step 4: In the navigation bar on the left you find Delete Account
Step 5: Click on the Delete Account button, click yes you want to delete the account and enter your password to confirm you want to delete your account.
Step 6: Once the account has been deleted you can re-register if needed.

If you are unable to log in to your account because you do not have access to the six-digit authentication codes, you can delete your account and then create a new one. This is a 24-hour process.
Step 1: Go to clearinghouse.fmcsa.dot.gov
Step 2: Click on the Log In button and log in with your email address and password
Step 3: On the Security Code page click on the link below the security code field that says Choose another authentication method
Step 4: Look below the different authentication methods and Continue button and clink on the link to deleting your account.
Step 5: Click on the “Yes, Continue Deletion” link, you will receive an email confirming the deletion process
Step 6: In 24 hours, you will receive a second email with a link to confirm and complete your account deletion.
