Problems with logging in to your FMCSA Clearinghouse Account?

If you are trying to log in to your FMCSA Clearinghouse account but no longer have access to the authentication method used to get security codes, you will need to delete the account and re-register.  Below are the steps to delete the account, this is a 24 hour process.

Step 1: Start the sign in process by entering your email address and password

Step 2: When asked for the One-Time Security Code, click on the clink for “Choose another authentication method”

Step 3: If you have set up alternate authentication method you can choose one and continue. If you don’t have any alternate authentication methods, you can delete the account by clicking on the link provided.

Step 4: You will need confirm that you want to delete the account.

Step 5: You will receive an email notifying you that the deletion process has started and will take 24 hours to complete.

Step 6: You will receive a second email 24 hours later confirming the deletion. Once you confirm the deletion in the second email the account is fully deleted.  You must confirm the deletion in the second email to complete the process.

You can now re-register with the DACH using the same credentials as were used previously if you wish. Any information that was in the previous account will move to the new account based on your CDL information. You are not deleting information from the FMCSA Clearinghouse, only the account that it matches to.
